Memento te hominem esse until you suggest a cooler Latin phrase.

I decided at a young age not to remain just a listener of music. Shortly after learning to play the guitar, my first instrument, I began recording music. Since then, I’ve kept various guitars, the piano, and vocals as staples in my life. Along this journey, two significant projects emerged:

Son Mavra

Formed in 2016 with my long-time close friends Doğukan Elibol and Mustafa Türer, later joined by our dear friends Ömer Uçak and Meltem Atcı, Son Mavra is our first and cherished band. Here are the recordings we have produced, listed both chronologically and by type. These can be accessed on Spotify or YouTube:

What's Next?

I firmly believe that there should always be new songs to create. At the ELECO 2024 conference, dear Prof. Dr. Tayfun Akgül gave an important speech about permanence. Comparing his artistic works to his academic works, he emphasized how one would become significantly less important than the other in 100 years. That "one," of course, was the academic works. I wholeheartedly agree with him.
